Build radical
ideas.

We are counsel to the companies redefining Africa. Our Ambassador Attorney network extends that work across the continent — and we are looking for the lawyers who will anchor it.

Your career with us.

Rather than performing routine legal chores, the firm focuses on a limited number of difficult specialties. That focus is what lets us deliver a unique form of excellence, flexibility, creativity and innovation — and it is what enables our clients to flourish while withstanding the conditions of uncertainty that come with a nascent ecosystem.

It also shapes who we hire. We are not looking for lawyers who want volume; we are looking for lawyers who want depth — and who are willing to build the tools, the structures and the rules that create meaningful impact in the emerging digital economy of Africa.

What matters to us

Our values, in practice.

01

Depth over volume

A limited number of difficult specialties, done exceptionally — startups, fintech, energy, policy, disputes and legal innovation. Specialism is what makes excellence, flexibility and creativity possible at all.

02

Practical and entrepreneurial

The Ambassador Attorney programme exists to develop practical, entrepreneurial lawyers determined to support the emerging start-up ecosystem in Africa. We train for judgment and initiative, not recitation.

03

Mentorship that outlasts the cohort

Our annual mentoring programme has been extended into the firm’s internship programme — its course outlines are now built into the task programmes of every trainee and intern who joins us.

04

Attorneys on the ground

Our vision is to build synergies that create an ecosystem for our clients across more than ten jurisdictions. When a client need arises where an Ambassador Attorney is based, we get the attorney on the ground — and the work lands faster.

Track record

The programme so far.

Recognition as a thought leader in the start-ups and technology companies segment did not come from a brochure. It came from running the “Tech Start-up Ambassador Attorney” programme year after year — and standing behind the lawyers who came through it.
