George holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre and a Bachelor of Laws from the Makerere University School of Law, where he served on the legal-journal and magazine editorial boards in both institutions.

He advises primarily in Employment Law, Corporate Governance and Intellectual Property, with an insatiable passion for research and legal writing and a strong focus on innovative procedures. His experience at a publishing house and poetry foundation rooted his interest in the entertainment, data and creative industries.

  • Drafted the data-privacy and protection policy of Think IT Limited, a leading biotechnological digital-health innovations company.
  • Negotiated and drafted an artiste-management contract between HowDam Records Entertainment Limited and an upcoming artiste.
  • Advised and collaborated on the application by Culipa Limited, a fintech startup, to the Bank of Uganda Sandbox programme.
  • Advised Delivery Hero, a German multinational food-delivery service, on the labour-jurisdiction effect on employment benefits for staff working remotely in Uganda.
  • Conducted market-entry research and a legal opinion for Culipa Limited on regulatory compliance needs in the Kenyan market.
